First Great Western trains are used by almost 80 million passengers each year and our aim is to provide a comfortable, reliable service with safety first.
Our fleet ranges from one carriage ‘153s’ that operate our services on shorter distance routes in the West of England, to the High Speed Train (HST) fleet that operates the longer distances on mainline routes.
Our entire HST fleet has been refreshed with new environmentally friendly engines, new seating, better lighting and on-board facilities to meet the needs of today’s customer. The London and Thames Valley services also being refreshed.
Our Night Riviera Sleeper service operates overnight between Penzance and London allowing you to sleep and arrive comfortably at your destination.
