Weekend First upgrade
Upgrade from Standard to First Class on most First Great Western routes at weekends and on Bank Holidays on payment of a supplement of £5 to £20 dependant on journey length.
You can buy in advance at ticket offices and on board High Speed services. However, please note that Weekend First is not available in advance to holders of advance tickets; these tickets can, however, be upgraded on board, subject to availability.
Zonal pricing
The First Great Western network has been divided into zones, and travel within one zone is £5, for two zones £10, three zones £15, four or five zones £20.

If your journey requires a change of train onto another First Great Western service, one fare is payable for the whole journey, rather than one fare per leg of the journey. Your Weekend First supplement will not be valid on services run by any other train operator.
As now, Weekend First is available on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays on all First Great Western services that have First Class accommodation. It will be available in conjunction with all Standard Class tickets and passes.
